My aim as a music teacher is to give my students the tools they need to express their creativity through music, and to enable them to become confident and competent musical performers, whether for their own pleasure, or to fulfil their professional musical ambitions.

Experience

I am a fully trained pianist, music teacher and musician with over 30 years experience in teaching piano, singing, vocal coaching and performance skills. I also teach music production, music technology and music business knowledge. 

Classically trained, I am literate in music theory and have extensive live performance experience, having written, composed, directed and performed across genres including classical, jazz, gospel and contemporary rock and soul music for various commercial music artists and community arts projects.
